On December 14, 2010 Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Agency for Supervision of Fully Funded Pension Insurance (MAPAS) and the Agency for Supervision of Insurance (ASO).
Taking into account the activities and assets in the fully funded pension insurance and in the area of insurance, there is increased need for cooperation between the relevant supervisory bodies in the country.
Cooperation between the ASO and MAPAS aims to enhance the efficient and effective performance of the legal responsibilities of both institutions through exchange of experiences and information and providing mutual assistance in the field of insurance and fully funded pension insurance. The scope, form and content of cooperation between institutions are regulated by the Memorandum of Cooperation, signed on December 14, 2010, by the Director of MAPAS, M.Sc. Bulent Dervishi and the director of ASO, Dr. KlimePoposki. The Memorandum regulates cooperation between the two institutions that will be accomplished through the exchange of information, opinions and experiences, expertise and technical assistance, joint training, etc.
